Whoo! Today I did a 45-minute basic yoga video from Netflix streaming, and it was GREAT. It wasn't anything super-intense -- went fairly slow, relaxation between each pose -- but I was still sweating! And I felt so good afterwards. Calm, clear, relaxed. I need to do more of this!
I enjoyed that the instructor kept reminding you to just do as much as you can with each pose, not to feel bad if you can't do the full thing right away, that you will get more flexible with practice. Very positive.
The video I did was "Yoga for Health: Basic" with Jenny Cornero instructing. I recommend it. I'm not sure how I feel about the breathing exercise at the beginning, but the rest of it is great.
By the way, I love that Netflix has a whole bunch of different exercise videos available for instant streaming. It gives me a whole variety of things to choose from. And it means I can just try something out, and if it doesn't work for me, I can turn it off and do something else -- and I haven't wasted any money.
Technology is wonderful sometimes!
