I just got back from South Carolina. My daughter's wedding was being held there. Wedding preparations, good ole fashioned southern cooking, and stress are not a good combination for someone on a weight loss journey. It's would have been easy to loose all of my sensibilities, but I did not. I kept it to a minimum. Lol
The hotel had an exercise room, I used it daily for at least 30 minutes. I didn't skip meals, boy did I not skip. I ate my fruit and veggies. Had dessert twice in 5 days. All in all I think I did pretty well, considering. I gained 2 and a half pounds and honestly, until I weighed myself today, I thought I had gained a whole lot more. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't.
So for the next couple of days I will be drinking lots of water, and getting some much needed rest.
On the 5th of July, I will be celebrating my second anniversary with Spark People, and I am happy to say... I am on track, still focused on my healthy new life style!!!
