Well I got so busy and so off track that I got to 212 and I'm in a wedding October 1rst and I was ordering my matron of honor dress and it was a size 20! When I got married 3 years ago it was a size 12. I was NOT having that what so ever. They said my hips were a size 20, then size 18 then size 16 so I was really wonky with measurements.
well I have started couch to 5K and I LOVE it! I love running. I can totally see a difference in my body, in weight loss (9 pounds) and in toning and just how I feel. My pants fit so much better, my muffins aren't so baked (my love handles are going down) and my husband can't keep his hands off of me! which i love. lol.
Before I would work out and such and wouldn't lose weight. b/c we weren't totally dedicated.
We went back home to Michigan and after the trip (June 1rst) We gave up anything with a drive thru, Chipotle, beer, coffee, pop, caffeine, sugary drinks, and been watching our sodium. Like I said It's EXTREMELY hard for me to lose weight. I don't ever remember losing really. I have lost 9 pounds and my husband 16 pounds! He is now into a shirt size XL which he hasn't been since high school!
It's almost a month since we've started it and we are keeping this life style. I cook with A LOT of fresh veggies, whole wheats, and such. Just really keep an eye on what I feed us.
when I finish the couch to 5K I am going to do a race. I haven't signed up one yet b/c when I'm done I need to train out side seeing as I run at the gym. That way I can also train my breathing and such. I've had issues with my asthma before but now not so much when I run inside but I'm not going to start running in 90 degree weather.
finally I am seeing results!! This totally proves that if I can do it ANYONE can do it!
