Gibby, Gibby, Gibby!

Sunday, June 26, 2011

I've had what can be described as a very interesting couple of weeks. There is much that I don't plan to share on SP (not publicly at least, message me if you really want to know more), but as you'll see, my pictures are coming from a different mirror now. I have moved into a place by myself as my wife and I are separating.

SP has always been a very supportive and positive place, and I want to do my part to keep it that way, by not bringing folks down. So no, I won't be talking about this much here, it has happened and I'm adjusting. In SP terms that means I am adjusting my diet a little bit as now I'm cooking just for one most nights. Breakfast is still usually mush (oatmeal) or a yogurt and some fruit. I keep orange juice now, don't know why, it just sounded good so there is almost always some in the fridge. I bought some snacks for when the kids visit but made sure to buy ones I wasn't particularly fond of. I am sticking to my exercise plan, running a couple miles most mornings, lifting weights, walking extra when I can, swimming some.

And as for the subject line, if you have a kid like I do that just lives for ICarly, you know Gibby as the guy that takes his shirt off for no apparent reason. All. The. Time.

So here, I'll do it too:

225.6 pounds this morning.

i'm sorry if you're going through a rough time right now. everyone can understand, people have personal lives, but it does affect our whole lives, so at least you're still here. seems like you are doing great with the nutrition side of things!

I think your fellow sparkers are going to understand when you don't want to talk about things - and we'll be here for you if you do. I also cook for one, it's actually pretty nice. You can have what you want every night for dinner and leftovers become either future yummy dinners or lunches. It's very smart to stock snacks for the kiddos that you don't like! Good job on that!
