I wound up in the hospital on Monday. I hurt my back after cleaning my apartment ( I have a back injury and arthritis from 11 years ago) Sunday afternoon, I took a nap and when I woke up I could barely walk. I went to the Dr and when he was done examining me, I couldn't get back off of his exam table because I was in so much pain. so the paramedics had to come take me to the hospital. I was there until today. They did an MRI and I have 2 bulging discs and beneath the lower one, my cartilage has a break or tear in it. So I got a steroid shot in my back, they have me on pain meds, muscle relaxers and for now I have to walk with a walker and do physical therapy. Of course this happened now, when I was trying really hard to find my motivation again. I was writing down goals for my eating and exercise and now, I'm writing goals like "Where I want my pain level to be", "Get up to use the restroom without assistance" and "Sit up in a chair for a few minutes"
