I've been wanting to train for a 5k the right way so I joined the "5k Your Way Walk/Jog Program" here on sparkpeople.
During this 5 week program I hit a roadblock around week 3. I hurt my leg and had to get stitches. Once I was able to walk again, I had to slowly work my way back up to where I could jog again.
It took longer than I was hoping (8 weeks), but I did it. Yesterday, I completed my 5k
