Week 1 C25K

Final run of week 1!

I've never been a runner. A walker, yes, but running was always a task that I attempted to escape, even in grade school. So I guess as I get older, my desire to conquer things that have stumped me has gone in overdrive. So I jumped into the C25K program with both feet, so to speak.

Here is how it s working for me:

#1 I downloaded the C25K app for my iPhone {http://www.c25kapp.com/}...We
ll worth the $2.99 for the app and the $0.99 for the GPS add on.
This app tracks your pace, gives you voice cues for which walking/running interval you are on, and allows you to track your route, too! You can run any music in the background you want.

#2 Because I wanted something to help me keep a consistent pace, I was looking for music that would be good and found PodRunner {http://www.djsteveboy.com/pod
runner.html} where you can download FREE podcast of workout/running music.

This is what is working for me...for now...until I get board and want to conquer another mountain!

    I just graduated C25K and ran my first race (vlogged and blogged about it on my page if you wanna check it out).

I have never been a runner myself, I am doing the C25K myself, I am on week 4.
