I saw the doctor on Monday for knee problems and told her that I'm tired of being fat! So she gave me a diet plan and I'm easing into it. I'm starting with sticking to 1600 calories a day and drinking lots of water! More steps and harder ones to come!
It has been really amazing and eye opening to see where my calories and carbs are coming from. It does make it easier to see what I want to eliminate from my diet. I have cut soda wayyyyyy down.....I use to drink 2 ltrs a day, now I'm down to just 16 ozs. By next week I will be down to none! There are too many calories and carbs in soda, it is amazing how many are in there!
Keeping track and being honest, even when people will say things that you don't want to hear about what you eat, is the best way to go! Hopefully in a few weeks my eating habits will get better and better!
