Good Thursday Sparkfam! Its rainy & much cooler day here in Chicago. I pushed myself & hubby out of the bed with a big force. I did 30mins of strength training & then like a vacuum came & sucked the air of me, I sat there dazed & confused? What do I do next? I wanna finish my cardio portion of my workout but man I could really go for another 30mins of laying around.
Are the lazy days of summer really here? Does the summer time make you lazier? I used to love to workout in the summer but for some reason this summer, I am dragging my heels. I need to find some ways to get my energy amped up again. Any suggestions other than coffee? lol
Tonight going to a neighborhood smokeout to show support for our community & the police officers patrolling the area. They asked that we bring a folding chair & our appetite so food is available as well as meeting other neighbors. Its a cookout but a opportunity to bring people out of their homes safely in areas where crime is taking over. Chicago can be rough at times but in order to get our city to work for us we have to do work with them as well.
