One day at a time

Chugging along here.
Yesterday started out pretty glum. I know I'm not supposed to weigh myself daily but I can't help it. The scale said I was 1 pound heavier. I knew it was probably a fluke but I couldn't help feeling dejected and worried that I was still in the yo-yo cycle and not on a weight loss schedule. Good thing work was crazy busy yesterday. I quickly forgot about the weight increase and did what I have been learning to do all week with my food choices, almost too easily! I did great with my diet all day. Even managed to get back to my running group for a track workout in the evening. I took a week off running to rest after my half marathon, and also to let a small muscle strain heal. It was my first day back to running, and I was energetic and excited to run. I was fast emoticon!
And this morning, my weight was back down, and still on the decline. Today starts day 7, and I've lost almost 3 pounds! I'm so stoked! I'm geared up for a great day. And I love how my body feels since I've cut out (most) of the junk foods.
