Today I am taking the plunge, re-starting on SP with a new dedication after 4 years of occasional dabbling. I'm at a turning point in my life (suddenly looking for a new job), and decided this would be a good time to re-evaluate my approach to my health while I'm re-evaluating other areas of my life.
I successfully completed Day 1 by meeting all of my self-set short-term daily goals (except for getting to bed by 11:30!). I tracked my food (and kept almost within budget!); walked/jogged around the college (2 1/2-3 miles); lifted weights for 15 minutes while watching TV (instead of my usual vegging); and am now posting my first blog entry! I expect that my increased activity on SP will result in increased success in my weight loss/fitness efforts over time.
Motivational scripture: " I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength" (Phil. 4:13). Motivational person: my sister, 1TRULYBLESSED!
