Little goals sometimes are exactly what I need. Something small to accomplish keeps me motivate as I add more and more difficult things in..so it was not a huge challenge last week to get more movement in and eat more veggies.
Every night I made sure I included at least one veggie in my meal.
I also started including them in my lunches.
It's taken some getting used to on my stomach's behalf, and I've made a few concessions but I think I'm getting used to it!
Saturday night I went to a boutique opening and to a pizza place with friends.
I had a salad instead of pizza..it was ALL veggie salad! :)
I kept my boozing to a minimum too
Every chance I had to eat more veggies, I took. my body is slowly starting to feel stronger
Yesterday I spent the afternoon working in the yard and it was HOT! Cutting down trees and hauling branches and dead bushes
it was a good workout.
Last night I asked my brother if I can use his bike. He brought it over right away!! It needs a tune up but I'm excited to bike to some nearby places rather than driving.
This week for example is supposed to be in the 70s everyday and
I want to try biking to work!
It would save money on gas and give me a good work out too! I have a friend here who can give me a ride in case of rain
I can also bike to and from the pool
So this week here are my goals:
Continue to eat at least one vegetable with every meal
Take the bike in for a tune up
give it a try!
enjoy a movie night at home this weekend (with popcorn!) as a reward for succeeding last week
drink more water, all that exercise is going to make you need it :)
