BASEBALL....

Had a great time at the baseball game last night between the OKC Redhawks and the New Orleans Zephers..although the Zephers won, it was a great time with friends. Got to meet some friends in person that are on my list here. and you have to admit the 9th inning was very exciting. Thank you for comming out and making my Saturday evening an enjoyable one. Jeannie and I have not been to very many games or sporting events where we felt any more welcome. Hope we get to do it again soon. G

    Baseball is the only sport I pay any attention to - but first, last, and always, it's gotta be the Balto-O's, lol...

I will admit to a special fondness for the Harrisburg Senators - used to be the farm team for the Expos, but now (I think) they're affiliated with the Washington Nationals. At any rate, they're (or used to be) great 'old-time' baseball. Next summer trip to the US I'm planning to try to get to see this bunch:

It sounds like a great place to see baseball; Himself has become a fair fan thanx to the influence of a, ah, certain Yank he met, lol.

    Yes, this is a definite 'do over' Gary, like in golf since the Red Hawks came close we get a do over, but... doubt we can do a better job than Susan did on this one. She did great, a lot of work and... sadly, she had to eat a few tix. I don't like that, but do want people to appreciate her generosity.

I appreciated seeing you again, and all the team.
