I finally tried the nutrition tracker and it is so easy to use. I have been trying to lose the few pounds from trips and cooking for my son( skinny as a rail and can eat anything). After fooling myself for a while I decided to start the tracking. It is a great tool and there is no excuse not to use it( if you want or need to keep track, I know some plans don't call for it). I lost the weight, but better than that, I found out that when I eat what I know I should, all the goals on my nutrition are met( except calcium and vit. D and I take supplements of those). The proportion of fat, protein and carbs are right where they should be, without me having to try. So I know my everyday diet is healthy and balanced.
I agree with you. It helped me loose 40 lbs. Time will tell if I loose the last 30lbs I would like to loss. Than again being and maintating where I am isn't to hard to take. Either way I'm healthier than what I once was and using the tracker is how I'll stay that way. 2048 days ago
That is great Pam, me too! I think that when I was gaining before, I didn't realize how much I was eating and I slowly started eating more and more. It is really helping me lose the weight this time.
I LOVE the nutritional tracker too! I think it's a great tool. I know, as you stated, that some look at it as a 'legalistic' tool, but I personally think it's a very useful and wonderful tool. 2077 days ago
