Honestly, I didn't think I would lose this much, on my first month! I shocked myself when I got on the scale this morning. Ok now on my way to my goal.

What I did differently. I started eating clean again. But this time I cut out all the dairy, sugars, and anything that would be considered white (flour, sugar too, white rice)

I actually believe that is my weight loss reasons for losing this weight. Also, no bloat or uncomfortable feeling in the evening.

I do need to get back to a exercise routine. Hot weather is moving in, and discourages any walking outside. I live in the desert. So Debbie Sansone it is!

Anyway, I am not that active, except for my yardwork, 2 hours in the morning.
And caring for my animals (job in itself) and minimal housework. And when I get a project going, woodworking (DIY)

I am excited to be back. This years promise to myself and goals, is to get back to the amount I lost with SP when I started, and continue on to goal. Something tells me I am going to do it this time. My appetite has changed and I don't seem to have the cravings for sugar that I used to have. I also am not baking this year, I want to concentrate on my clean eating, and incorporate new recipes, and menu's.

Also to add, I weigh once a month, I don't bring the scale out until the 18th of each month, it's exciting to see a good loss. Day to day and week to week discouraged me, and set me into a eating binge, if I didn't lose or gained a bit
I knew it could be water gain. But it's a psychological thing, and it's just better for me to do the oam thing.

    That is truly amazing! I, too, am going to cut out the sugar and flour and go low carb. I have put on weight and want to nip it in the bud.

    I noticed you were able to add me as a friend to your spark page! I'm so glad! Plus I wanted to say that I'm so glad you've decided to give Spark People another try!!! I am too! :D I've started it several times, but really never took full advantage of all of their resources especially the community and I'm hoping that helps me stick to my goal this time! I hope we can stick together! Hey and I like Walk-Away-the-Pounds too! Soo...I've joined there team and I think the challenge is to walk at least one mile a day! I'm going to see if I can't up the anty to two miles a day! And then go from there! Good luck and I'll keep in touch!

    PS. Even though it has been rather hot and humid this spring here, I'm pretty sure I don't miss the hot desert heat! Keep Cool and don't over do it while gardening! :D
