Ok that's not completely true... I track my calories, water, fitness minutes, etc on my iPhone app all the time! But I haven't visited sparkpeople.com or blogged since January...
I have been doing a Fitness Challenge at my gym since about mid April. Tomorrow is the last weigh in. The way it works is you pay the entry fee of $45 and you are put on a team for 8 weeks. You get full access to the gym (not a big deal for me since I am already a member) BUT each team is assigned a fitness trainer for that 8 weeks. You work out as a team with your trainer at least once a week. They give you a diet plan and everything... we have had 2 weigh ins so far and I have lost 12lbs. I had HOPED that I would lose 15lbs during the 8 weeks and that would put me BACK to the weight I was LAST June. Yes... I had put on 15lbs by the first of the year since I went off the sparkwagon last summer. Several failed attempts to get back on had not helped at all. I had been losing and gaining the same 5lbs since the Fall. So I am pretty excited that I have lost the 12lbs so far! Tomorrow is the last weigh in and the challenge is over - hopefully I will have lost that last 3lbs. Even if I didn't... I measured my waist today and I have lost 4.5 inches since we started the challenge!!! Very excited about that!
I am going to try to blog more... I always thought it was helpful to check in with my sparkfriends every day. For some reason I just feel too busy lately... but I m going to make time.
