Long Time, No Blog....

This is a picture of me after a Warrior Dash in MD. This was about a month ago and a complete BLAST!

Well I haven't blogged in forever I see! I though by doing this, I could write about my feelings and take pressure off myself.
I have been trying so hard lately but feeling like a failure. I run (today I ran 11 miles, solo), I road bike (the other day I did 45) and I still can't seem to get off those darn 8 pounds!
Yesterday I felt really down in the dumps, today I feel better, but I just can't seem to get a grip of my portion sizes! (Just now I downed, I don't know how much of a crock pot oatmeal I had made yesterday..........right out of the pot, a big no-no)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, so here I am, going to restart my blogging. I hope this will take some mental pressure off me and get me to appreciate what my body allows me to do.............until tomorrow...........

    Hello there! I have removed some stubborn pounds, about 5 of the 8. So I'm still trying to keep at it.......each day watching what I take in (some days are so tough.......food is like a drug for me!).

    So, here it is a month later, and I see you are celebrating 4yr maintaining. Hope that means you got those 8 lbs off again, and have regained control over your eating! We all have those yucky times, but the keys getting back on the plan! Happy maintaining!

    The key is consciousness. Be aware of what you eat and when you eat it and why you eat it. Then you can change your behaviour
