over did it??

I may have over did it yesterday N now my ankles are swollen.. They never swell up!! My legs are soo sore that they tighten up more just driving.. Should I take the day off?? Was thinking of just a really light workout (lower body) N focusing more on upper body today..

Also will the swelling go down N stay away? Or is this something I may possibly start seeing? I hate the way its making my ankles look..

    My ankles swell, too when it gets hot out and I overdo or if I eat too much sodium. Putting your feet up does help. Also, put lemon in your water, it is a good diuretic in case you have eaten too much sodium. But, I would keep exercising-evn if it is a 10 min walk- unless you are in need of a day off. SP recommends taking a day or two off a week, if you are really active. It helps the body heal! Hope you are doing better today.

    Take it easy. Maybe try upper body or even just a slow walk to get blood pumping but I would not push yourself. This is your bosy telling you to rest!

    elevate your feet if you can. I'd do upper body only- give your body a chance to recover before you're back at it
