Ugh. Last Saturday I kinda had a "hurrah, girl time!" night. I didn't do horribly, but I did drink my share of calories emoticon . As a result I saw a bit of a gain, and I cracked down hard core. Running every day or every other day, intense exercise, eating well within or below my calories.

I just came back from a 700+ calorie burn, having sweated my camel hump off ( I am convinced I am part camel with the water I retain). Normally when this happens I can hop on the scale and see an immediate loss of around 2 pounds. It doesn't stay that way always, but what can I say? It makes me find my happy place to know that the scale does budge, even if temporary.

My last run didn't give it to me, so I thought hey. This time it should. And did it? ...


Even though I sweated a metric ton, I am no lighter than when I left.

My weigh in is Saturday, which is my birthday. Doesn't look like I'll be hitting 179.. and it doesn't look good for me to hit 180. What I really don't want is to go in with nothing lost, or another .08 (which is typically the week before mother nature) when I am working so ubar hard!

I know it will catch up as long as I stay consistant, but since it's close to my birthday ...I am channelling Veruca salt. I want it now.

In other news.. I am starting to see muscles in my back!
