Dash Diet Recipe book

I have been following the Dash Diet and have developed an easy way for me to enter the foods that I eat into my Spark Nutrition log.
Since this diet uses many low salt foods in the recipes, I have been entering 2 Dash Diet recipes a day into my Spark Recipe book, labeled Dash. I can then quickly click on a recipe and enter it into my daily log giving me the exact calories, sodium, etc., contents.
This method would work well for any specialized diet plan also.

    Just found this blog - I have been looking at the Dash diet - have always had a problem with sodium content in foods. I do not cook with salt - so my family always grabs the salt shaker. And, I watch labels.
My son tells me that the issue is not so much the amount of sodium, but lack of enough magnesium, potassium and calcium. So now am watching those also. Love the nutrition report here on SparkPeople. Gives you such a full report of the nutrients for the day.

    great idea. I never enter my food because I find it too difficult. thanks . Not sure what Dash diets are but will look it up now. thanks again.

    Today my doctor suggested starting the Dash diet. Are you having success with this diet?
