Hi everyone! Yes, I'm still around :) Lately, I've gotten a lot of messages and comments asking where I've been and why I'm not blogging... and they are surprised to find out that I actually DO blog just about every day. I apologize if you've already seen this, but I figured I'd post a link here in case you're one of the super nice people that asks about me.

It's nothing super interesting--just the day to day of trying my best to keep this weight off! I do still check my Spark page and Spark mail, and I read all of your nice comments. THANK YOU for being so supportive and motivating to me!!

Congratulations on your weight loss and maintenance success! Your story is wonderful and it's so generous of you to share it with so many people. I'm sure you have a lot going on, but I see that you're a member of the 'At Goal and Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance' team here on SparkPeople. We'd love to have another long-term maintainer around to help out our newbies and others who may be backsliding in maintenance and, of course, offer you that support should you ever need it. I'm relatively new to maintenance (almost six months-woo hoo!) and a new team leader there but I don't remember seeing you around since I joined up. If you have the time and are interested, please come check us out again and consider lending your voice there. We maintainers need all the support we can get!

I also am using weight watchers! I do points plus and ive lost about 30 lbs so far. I watched your video and you are so inspiring! Thank you for that.

you are my inspiration, I went on spark people with a few friends and while I lost weight and was a very happy camper, i fell off the wagon so to speak after my surgery, and have been struggling ever since. I decided to come back to Spark again to read your blogs because even though I was no longer dedicated to my page I always thought of you and your courage on my toughest days.....thank you for continuing to check on us, you are honest and talk about real issues, which a lot of us deal with everyday alone....... i am getting back on track I have a 1/2 marathon under my belt and working towards # 2 in May but the weight struggle never ends.

I saw someone comment that you are having a "lower body lift" and wanted to wish you well. MAMACLOK on YouTube, who has released over 70# and kept it off for 3 years now, just had a tummy tuck, and a breast lift(I believe) and she's done great. She was going to post about her six week check up.

Very cool blog - Runs For Cookies! Hadn't seen your blog link before, so I got lost there a few hours this afternoon. Was very curious about the "cookie" design in the Garmin display - does it let you upload graphics? or was that you fiddling around in Photo Shop? Very clever, in any case. I probably need to find my one sin to run for - prolly ice cream. I'm picky about cookies - they need to be crispy, not chewy!! (my husband is opposite, so between the two of us, the cookies can disappear. But if I buy a new to me brand and I find it is chewy, I usually let him take them to work - computer engineers are world class junk food eaters!!).

Hey, I am change-n-me from OD I have been following you for a long time. I have yet to actually comment on your blog though because my computer is accient and my phone wont let me. But keep up the good work.
You are capable of doing anything you set your mind too. I'm alittle lost if you actually want to get to 126 or if you want to get to 132 or what ever. Your one of those people of have "true grit" And thats what makes you special.
Hope your appointment goes good today... cant wait to read the outcome.

Thanks for letting me know how else to hear from you. I hope that all of us that
like to read your blogs are not making you feel more pressured. Sometimes it is
so nice to read about someone else's success. You have shown many people that
it can be done without surgery. You have bounced back many times. When I had
lost 40 lbs, I put undue pressure on myself. I felt everyone was watching me to
see if I kept it off. So after only a year, I put it all back on and more. I have never
been able to keep it off since, and that was about 15 years ago. Do what makes
you happy! I am trying to find a way to love myself again. I want to be able to
enjoy the things I use to do when I had more energy. Hang in there, but do it

I love your blog, and think that it is great not just that you lost all that weight but that that you do not give up when you have setbacks, and keep finding ways to challenge yourself. That's what it's all about. AND....love your recipes, and THANK YOU for introducing me to PB2...just got my first jar yesterday just to try and I am probably going to have to start ordering large amounts like you do!

You are amazing Katie. You have showed me so much. I follow you here and there. You are proof that this can be done and it isnt a miracle and then poof you are done. If you fall down you have to keep on getting back up. No matter what your weigh goal is.
