Don't know what happened, after 5K race on Saturday, my left ankle felt bruised to the touch, but there was no pain as far as putting weight on it.
After yesterday's morning run, I can hardly walk on it--what could this be? I never noticed any specific point in time that I may have injured it. It's swollen today, I've been icing it, keeping it elevated, compressing it and resting.
How long does an injury like this take to heal? Approximately how long before I can run again? Going to see doctor today, normally would just "wait" it out, but going on vacation next week and would like to know how to handle it.
