How did I stay away so long?!

I can't believe so much time has passed since I've been on many things have been going on...I remember I was SO going to start Portion Control when I left...that didn't work out very well emoticon So here I am the end of my grandson, Charlie's First school year...he has completed Kindergarten and has a half day of school left went so quickly but not as quickly as I anticipate Summer to pass!!! I'm very excited to have him home for the summer...well, most of it anyway...he and his Mom are going away for two weeks the end of this month...the upside is that Hubby and I started golfing again in March and we just LOVE it!! We golf every weekend and play a scramble every other Saturday afternoon...the more we play the better we like it! We even took grandson Charlie out last Sunday morning for his first time! For almost 6 years old that kid can HIT that ball and in a straight line too emoticon We had the time of our lives!
What else? Oh, I DID start seriously WALKING again on the 22nd of April as part of a Corporate program at my husband's office for the American Cancer Society...the program ended but I keep putting the pedometer on and walking and tracking my miles every time...over 45 Miles so far and counting emoticon
I must say, I'm hesitant about tracking my food intake again although the new tracker looks great and I did track my breakfast this's so darn time consuming and I'm not sure how to start my weight loss tracker again...or if I want to emoticon It was great tracking the 25# I lost but to put most of that back on and start again? We'll see...right now I feel really good about being more physically active and good about myself for sticking to I'll start there emoticon

    That's a perplexing question: How did you stay away for so long? Time gets away from all of us, and we often don't keep up with some of the important things in our lives. But - that was yesterday - today is today - and so WELCOME BACK!

    WooHoo! So great to have you back!
You look wonderful in your pictures, and I'm glad to read that you're golfing, walking and getting exercise regularly.
My grandsons golf, too, so when they come for a visit we always go out to the driving range. I used to play golf quite a bit, but I haven't played a round in about a year now.
I've been yo-yo-ing with my weight for the last year, so this week I've changed my attitude and am back on an exercise program. These extra pounds just have to come off!
Good to read your blog -- I haven't done that lately, either!
