I hope everyone is doing well. I am going to try and get by friend's pages this week to say hello! I am Safe and Sound in California and getting ready this week for the summer camp season! Start working with a trainer once a week on Thursday (a family friend who is awesome and will totally kick my butt!)
Playing catch up after a week on the road where I TOTALLY indulged on southern food and mexican food and celebrated our son's birthday early. Official weigh in is Friday where I find out the real damage and move on. No regrets. My size 16's still fit, they are a little more snug but they fit so I'm not gonna beat myself up.... just movin' on!
Here are the results of my May challenge - I did manage to keep up with it but forgot to post it.
18. Workout first thing in the morning.
Well, it wasn't the very first thing but it happened early!
19. Add 15 minutes.
My fitness goals for the rest of the month are 45 mins per day - Today I did 65 mins!
20. Workout your lower body.
Ugh - Did squats and lunges after I ran.
21. Do something that makes you feel sexy or beautiful.
I covered up my ever increasing grey hair and put on a dress to go out for a wine tasting with the hubby.
22. GO HARD OR GO HOME.
Hiked 3 miles with lots of hills.
Played with Ethan all day!
24. Break a personal record.
Did 100 crunches without stopping!
25. STRETCH longer than normal.
I am super bad at stretching except for yoga so any stretching is longer than normal - Done!
26. Mid-Week super killer cardio day!
Ran 5K in 85 degrees - thank goodness there was lots of shade.
27. Practice your balance.
Did some balance exercises my trainer gave me
FAILED - first day on the road and totally forgot!
29. Obliterate your brick wall.
ON HOLD until I get to Cali - my brick wall is my own personal pity party because I had to leave my daughter and grandson... can you say Emotional Eater?
30. Enjoy the holiday.
DONE - got to spend part of it with my son!
31. Make a JUNE plan

Yoga/Meditation: Goal:15 min 4x per week
Strength Training: Goal: 2x per week
Water: Goal: 8 cups
