6/6/11 -- I let myself physically go for the FINAL time. Now, no more excuses. And no more desserts. It's day one of my 76lb journey and I'm feeling okay. I'll give myself eight months to do it hopefully capping off my transformation by completing the LA Times Marathon on March 18, 2012. After that time I'll figure out the maintenance formula.
I walked four miles today. Although a little of the way into it I thought I was having a heart attack but the pain was near my right collarbone. Probably my body was saying, "you know what you ate late last night so don't expect a pain-free walk." For a split second I thought about stopping but then I pictured The Biggest Loser contestants. All of them felt the way I did this morning. And they did not quit. So neither will I.
My menu: Lots of water then loads of veggies and fruit, green drinks, soups and organic/vegan protein, no carbs. Ouch. Per my ClubGEL support team, I'm to eat the Veggie Grill Santa Fe Chicken sandwich without the bun. I'm told it should be wrapped in kale. Oh joy.
