ok, ok, ok.....I will admit...i've been pretty bad at keeping plugged into the SP loop. But, this time i'm back....for real. Last year I lost a total of 40lbs....yesterday I got on the scale, and 5 are back....NOT COOL! so, this morning, I got my butt up, ran, and did abs. My family joined a CSA (community shared agriculture) program, and we WILL be eating our veggies!!! i am meal planning every sunday, to prepare for the week, and i am super stoked about the spark budget piece on here now! so.....i have another 25 lbs to get me to where I wanna be (for now)......let's do this.

    Hey Monterey! I am so gald that you got me on here i am really excited about all the stuff SP has to offer. I know you can do whatever you put your mind to, and will look amazing in no time.     thanks!!! i will be doing yoga tomorrow....and re-training for a 5k (i missed the other one i trained for because i was sick :( but nothing will stop me this time!!! i appreciate the support!!

    Good to have you back, and it's great that you exercised! The plan with veggies rocks - sounds like you have your priorities in mind.

Don't forget resistance/strength training - it's an important part of losing fat safely and effectively. Cardio can cause you to lose muscle along with fat, and that lowers your metabolism. You want to keep the metabolism stoked up, so strength training will help you do that. You will not get bulky, that's a total myth. I've been lifting heavy weights for over 5 years and I do not look like a dude.
