I broke out my Zumba dvds that I have had for a while but was too scared to try. I just had that feeling, you know, that I might be in over my head with it. I'm not sure why, but there you have it.
So I turned on the first dvd, and thankfully I saw there was a part to teach you how to do the moves. And a sweet faced girl ASSURED me I would have NO problems learning the moves.
Hmmmm...that probably should have been my first clue. But no, I blithely started it up. First part, no problem. Second beat, let's speed it up....huff huff well okay then....
Now she smiles at me and says lets spice it up! Use your spice!
Where the hell did my spice go? I know I had it once upon a time....long ago, in a galaxy far away....
I hope if I keep trying I can get my spice back! But I don't know......
I've done really well with my goals!
Week 1 - Wed 6/1 to Tues 6/7
1. 10 minutes of exercise a day, every day
Wed: 40 min
Thurs: 60 min
Fri: 31 min
Sat: 90 min
Sun: 60 min
2. 15 minutes of meditation every morning
Sat - no, oops
Sun - no, oops (you would think on the weekend it would be easier!)
3. Find one way every day to take the long way or do it the hard way
Wed: Took the long way through the garage so I could walk up the stairs to the first floor before I got on the elevator
Thurs: Took those stairs again
Fri: Took the stairs again
Sat: Made multiple trips to fill bird feeders instead of bringing them all in at once
Sun: parked at the end of the row for Target
4. Let chaos reign!! Don't take life so serious!
Yes, chaos in my life every day! LOL
