Fell off the boat - Jumping back on!!!

Ok, Ok, Ok, so I signed up for SP a couple of weeks ago and already fell off the boat! Between moving, job searching, going away for my b-day I just haven't had time to be on here logging in stuff and doing blogs.

So, I'm going to try to get back on the boat (I'm climbing:^) and start fresh today. I am moving in a week, working all week and going for a job interview and maybe shadow for the day one day so not sure how I'll do, but I'll try!

I really want to log my food, as I really do want to take off a few pounds - but it is rather time consuming..... And I cook pretty much everything I eat - which makes it hard, as almost everything is food from a box/package and I always change recipes to be more healthful so I can't just put the nutrition in. Any ideas for this out there?

Off for a 6 mile run and then to move more stuff and clean the new place - oh joy:^). But I am thankful for the weather at least-it is sunny and cool - no humidity - my type of weather!

  Thank you for your blog - it's so realistic, and yet u took a few moments to stay connected. u r being true 2 your priorities, and i got a lot to learn from u, well maybe that's the secret-we all learn from each other!!! (bless u again sparkguy).

For tips: Try to enter all your food variations into "favorites". That creates a list for which you just check off at 1 time everything you want to track for the day. It's a 1 time effort and then it's easy after that. Same for fitness tracking. I'm still getting into it...

    Glad you're back in the boat!

I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but when I make a recipe, I track it as a grouping in the food tracker. Let's say it has 4 portions, and I freeze part of it. I track each portion as .25 (1/4). I don't know if that makes sense, but using the groupings is a way to make tracking easier. I use it a lot. For example, I often have the same breakfast, so I made a grouping called "Breakfast", and I can track my breakfast with one click when I have that particular breakfast.
