Well, I've been an SP newbie for almost a month now and, while my eating still yo-yos, for the most part I'm sticking to healthier consumption.
I finally broke down & bought a scale last week..one of those nifty weight-saving, BMI-tracking, water percentage thingies. I weighed myself as soon as I got home with it: 271.6 -- ugh
So then I went & made myself my favorite spinach salad:
2 parts spinach to 1 part lettuce
1/4 c of whole kernel corn
2 mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cucumber, sliced
a handful of my favorite frozen recipe starter seasoning (I think that's what it's called: it's diced onion, bell pepper, & celery)
Tossed it all together with a Braggs vinaigrette dressing.
Since I'm not the most 'regular' person in the world, before going to bed, I took two laxative tablets 'cuz I knew it would do its thing first thing the following morning! And of course..it did! Afterwards, I got on my shiny new scale again: 268.8 pounds! Call it a fluke...or maybe I was just plumb FOS! - LOL
Now, don't fuss...I know it's a no-no to be a scale-watcher..that was last weekend, and I haven't gotten on the scale again since. I figure I'll do it again at the two-week mark!
So today...I bought myself a pair of ankle/wrist weights. Hopefully, they won't join the exercise mats I bought in February..packed away in a box awaiting my move from this apartment to another one!
I'm going to add some pictures ... eventually...my family & friends know: I'm the one behind the camera..rarely in front of it, but I do have a few shots that I can share. I don't think I have anything truly recent but..we'll see...
Enough for now...I could write more, but I'm still in the middle of the whole thing I like to call the cycle of purge'n'pack, so I'm going to get back to it before I lose my motivation!
