This week I decided to kick things up a notch...I wanted to get back on the exercise train. However, the extreme heat and humidity (Heat Index in the 100's) derailed my attempts to want to do much of anything. Befittingly, the A&I blog challenge topic is Summer Exercising...
Do you like the summer heat or do you spend most of your time in the cool, air-conditioned indoors? How has your exercise routine changed now that summer is here? I am not a fan of the heat and humidity. It makes me want to stay indoors. Today has been a beautiful day and I've thoroughly enjoyed it! It did get up to the late 80's but without the haziness and heat of earlier in the week. I was glad to get in a 15 min walk with DD! But for the most part, I would prefer to be indoors during the summers here in Northern Virginia.
I love to walk in the fall, but unfortunately, by the time I get home from work, it's starting to get too dark. In the spring, I have allergies or if I have to take DD hers are 10x's worse than mine. I wouldn't mind having a summer with today's weather. We shall see what God has in store for us!
