I planned to lose 40 pounds in 40 weeks and I haven't lost any wt. Actually I gained some weight. I got to get serious.
My in-laws are coming to see our new house in Sept and my DH and I are decided to lose weight together. He is aiming for 15 pounds and for me, it is 30. I need to lose more but it's about 4 months away and I don't want to set up unrealistic goals. We are big on snacks, especially at night. So, we promised each other that there will be no snacking after 7pm. Just doing so, my DH lose wt before not even exercising. For me, I need to count my calorie intake and exercise at least one hour to see any wt loss. We weighed this morning and will weigh ourselves once a week. If I get my 30 pounds off, my reward will be microdermabrasion. I am excited. I am glad he is doing this with me. We will reach our goals. I wonder what he wants after he reaches his goal. He hasn't told me what it is. I'm sure he will win. Men lose wt faster than women because they have more muscle mass and don't go thru hormone craziness as women do. That means I got to work harder.
