Sorry for the double blog today, guys! I just couldnít leave here with such a negative blog post being the last thing out there. Iím DONE dwelling on what I havenít achieved, on the woulda-coulda-shouldaís, and Iím ready to focus on whatís gone WELL, and what I am doing to do NOW.
Iíve lost 35 lbs so far since Jan 1st. Thatís amazing! Iím down from a size 20/22 to a size 12/14. Thatís amazing! Iím actually managing to haul my butt through Insanity workouts. Thatís amazing!
I just changed my work schedule back to 7-3:30. This doing Insanity before work thing just isnít working for me. I just do NOT have the energy right after waking up to do these intense workouts. I wanted to do Insanity in the morning so I could still get to Zumba a few nights a week, but I havenít been to Zumba in 2 weeks. SO, time to change things up!
Work schedule moved back to 7-3:30. This gives me more time for workouts (and cooking dinner!) in the evening!
June action plan:
ē Do Insanity daily (evenings, no later than 8 p.m.)
ē Zumba 1x/week (if I canít make it to a class, Iíll do the video game for 30 min)
ē Curves 2x/week (6 a.m., before work)
ē Walk/jog 15+ miles/wk (average 2-3 miles/day)
ē Cook dinner at home 6 nights a week
ē Pack a lunch 4 work days a week
ē Reduce sodium (less than 2,300 mg/day)
Iím probably not going to make my 100 lbs lost goal by the end of 2011. Thatís OK. That was my really big, ďreach for the starsĒ goal. My realistic goal was 50 lbs by the end of the year. Iím 35 lbs down, which leaves only 15 lbs to go. With 7 months left in the year, thatís 100% do-able. Thatís just 2-3 lbs a month. I have got this in the bag Ė all I have to do is not give up.
And really, with 65 lbs left to lose to reach 100 lbs lost, I could still possibly make that. Thatís a little over 9 lbs a month, which is about 2.3 lbs a week. OK, I probably wonít be able to lose over 2 lbs a week for the next 7 months straight Ė especially since Iíve been hanging out in the 190ís for 2 months Ė but I can still darn well TRY. And I can take a good chunk off, anyway, and make it that much closer to my 100 lbs goal.
I forgot I have a volunteer activity on my lunch break, but Iíll still have 30 minutes left after that, during which Iím going to walk/jog 1.5 miles (or maybe 2! Weíll see how fast I manage to go!) Iím also going to walk 3 miles with PEANUTSJ and Qristie this afternoon, and see if John wants to maybe walk/jog with me and then do Insanity. Tomorrow night Iíll try to make it to Zumba at 6:30, then come home and do Insanity.
