Point of no return, SIGH!

After a tumultuous couple of months with med changes and vacation and busy with work (yea) I got on the scale and it wasn't pretty. It's time to get serious about weigh loss and healthy eating and exercise, once again. YO YO YO! I've gained back the eight pounds I struggled to lose plus 2. It is June 1 and seems to be the right day to restart the effort. Searching for a game plan, I checked out the Sonoma Diet again. They are calling it the New Sonoma Diet so I tried to rejoin and some computer glitch would not let me in. It is a great diet and I lost 18 lbs in 2008. Then gave up because it was so slow and managed to gain it all back. Wont' I ever learn? Anyway, I did pretty well yesterday paring down.
My new doc says that 80% of his patients lose weight on Pristiq, which is my new med. I see him again in July so I have to show some progress or be really embarrassed. And summer is the time for fresh veggies and fruit!! Seems like setting a goal from June 1 to Sept 1 is reasonable. My goal would be to adopt a healthy diet and stick to it and hopefully lose to be in the 170's at least. Please let this work. Later!
