Marilyn is 57 years old and running out of time for it to matter.
I really hope I can achieve my goal this time! I hope to be at least 42 lbs lighter come September 1st, 2011. By the way, that will not make me a size 6, it will take me from obese to overweight, but it is a start. Over the years and all of the diets, many, many, diets it is clear that there is something more than lack of will power, or knowledge, going on here. I now take it as an act of faith to find out what that mystery is and to solve it. I hope folks will read along.
I will be as honest as is helpful to anyone who might come across this blog. Privately, more honest between me and my G-d.
Step one is to remember an "A" is an "A" whether it is 90% or 100%, or more for those gawd awful extra credit perfect people. There was one in every classroom, right?
Ninety percent allows for some wiggle room when "free food" is offered. Like many of you, I have to watch my budget. Let's see if I can at least abide by my own rules and standards.
So rule number 1:
Work the program as described in 8 week diabetic weight loss challenge
Tweak: ninety percent rule for outside special eating only. (I choose these three months because other than Father's day, not to many reason's to be tempted to overeat).
