May Review/June Goals

Tuesday, May 31, 2011

My goals for May were:
1- 1,000 minutes -DONE!
2- Keep up 100 day challenge - did 35 days of consecutive exercise//restarting 100 day challenge today!
3- Focus for this month is "drink water." So I will be drinking at my desk, when we go out to eat, and I really need to work on drinking water on the weekends. That is definitely the challenge.-- I kind of slacked on this one. I did drink just as much as I usually do but I didn't necessarily drink more.

I'm looking at June as a new beginning. May was just chaotic and I never got a real hold on it if you know what I mean. It started out wacky w/ birthdays and mothers day and in the middle my whole company moved and then it ended w/ memorial day which was an awesome weekend! So I'm looking at June calendar and all I see is my 5k and Fathers Day/Dad's birthday scheduled. Yay! I think I will do better this month. I'm restarting everything. I'm taking my measurements and that will be my starting point.

June Goals*************************
1. 1,000 minutes
2. Start 100 day challlenge
3. Start 30 day challenge on 6/1
4. Participate in June BSG challenge
5. Follow morning exercise schedule I've made
6. Focus this month is sleep so I want to be in bed by 10:30 on the weekdays!

I did really well this past weekend. I went to step class, kick class and ran 2x while on vacation. My eating was pretty good also. I'm going grocery shopping tonight and will get fruits and vegetables. I might find it easier now that Ryan is wanting to eat healthier also. He says the reason he gained 20 lbs is b/c of my cooking. I no. It's not my cooking it's what you are eating besides my cooking. He snacks all the time and I'll fix vegetables and he won't eat them. If we do get pizza I'll eat 1 or 2 pieces of a large..he gets the rest and says he is still hungry. I'm you aren't hungry after 5 or 6 pieces of pizza! That would be the reason for his weight gain! It just kind of makes me laugh b/c men never want to take responsibility for their actions!

Anyways..I hope everyone had a great May and an even better June!
