Another New Start

Monday, May 30, 2011

I was looking at my Spark weight loss goal chart from the past year and realized I am back up to my original starting weight. . . Not good, not good at all. I looked at my "weight loss report" and it was actually hilarious. I've made my own little artistic representation below (yes, it says "oh no" in the blue part if you look closely).

Instead of dwelling on that, I've decided to just start over. I've reset all of my goals here on Spark, and it's a relief to see that my blue line (my actual weight) hasn't separated from my red line (goal). I was about to type "yet" at the end of the previous sentence, but I think that would be pretty pessimistic. I'm not pessimistic. Today, I feel great - full of energy and hope for the future. I'm going to the gym in about an hour to swim and treadmill.

My goals for this week are:
1. Drink more water.
2. Go to the gym 3 times.
3. Don't eat at the computer or in front of the TV (wish me luck).
4. Track my food on Spark.
5. Take a multi-vitamin every day.

I had the same issue last year. Actually, I ended the year three pounds heavier than when I started and it was actually a good fitness and nutrition year. Don't think about it so much and I bet you will start losing weight.
