This is a very accurate blog about what happens long term on JUDDD. Dr Johnson's study was short term and his site is no longer available as it was before. Once you allow yourself to go off plan for extended periods, when you go back on you don't lose as quickly or as easily as before. I'm thinking that's where I'm at. I have tried everything and everyway that I know to start losing again and there's no fooling this body of mine. Each day that I try to bring up my calorie count even if below 1200, I gain. Very extreme 250 calorie down days do not let me lose as much as it used to. I used to be able to drop 3-4 lbs after a very low DD or water fast.
