Coal--the ""late"" Bella , with Zeus, #3 son's dog--
I must be known in town here as owning, "'Doggie Heaven""!
You see, so many people are calling--like daily, offering their pups---
Ive been making inquiries lately, searching for a German Shepherd , replacement, for Bella, the GSDog we had to ""Put down""--a friend for Coal, our big all black GSDog.

Yesterday, #3 son, the policeman, even called me, and said a friend of his will bring out a 6 mo. pup, which they will let go, for free, to a good home-----not a GSDog tho---but--oh so tempting----specially if we see this pup----It's a WORNORREIMER --LOL----- or something like that---(Sp. wrong there!--LOL)
Anyway, husband and I discussed it--BEFORE the pup arrived--and we decided to stick to our guns here, and wait for the pre-arranged pup, we have put a deposit on.

In fact, we have a deposit on 2 different litters,--(of which Husband is completely oblivious to!)- which aren't even born yet-
They are SUPPOSED to arrive in August--
Another lady offered her 9 mo. old Shepherd (for a price)---
Another breeder said she has one pup left--Would I take it?---
Oh------so tempting-------

But-----until last night---poor husband didn't even want another dog----
You see, I don't tell him everything --and that I already had deposits on pups , for the end of the summer--
I always work on the theory , that , it's not too good to upset him with too much info, too early--and usually he comes around and eventually even believes its his idea, by the time the pre-arranged event arrives--

Husband now wants a German pup-----
That's a big step-----Woo Woo!

I guess I work on the theory too, that a gal has to do what a gal must do, to live in this world!--- *S*----
So----yesterday was a wonderful Spark day---- Water was flowing here--- lotza watermelon--salmon---portions under control---walking went on----journaled-
And little tiny Andie, our latest Grand Baby is lovely!--

Have a good day , losers out there!--

In 2006 my husband went fishing in the morning and I bought Jorja in the afternoon. (my black poodle). He did not want any dogs! Too bad. His heart melted when he came home and she pranced up to him. Now he gaurds her more then his grandchildren. I bought Sofie in Elliot Lake. Again he was mad. He got over it. Sofie is a white poodle. Very ditzy. It is very hard to lose your pet but exciting to get a new one. They are never a replacement but just like our children, or grandchildren, they have their own unique qualities. Good luck with your new pet.
The picture of your new grandbaby is adorable. It must be wonderful to hold her and cuddle her.
I am going to Elliot lake today to drop off my husband at my sisters. Her husband and mne are going fishing for ten days up north. It will be nice to see her. It has been a while.

Beautiful baby!!! Congrats! Glad you're getting another dog. :)
As far as keeping secrets, a gal from church (yah church) told me that "It's easier to go ahead and do what you want and ask for forgiveness later than to get permission beforehand!" LOL Have a wonderful Sparkweekend! emoticon emoticon

I love how you say you work on your husband until he thinks something you wanted was his idea. I do the same! Lovely Grandchild. You must be so proud!

    Andi is beautiful!

I would hold out for the GS Dog. That is what you want and you will be happier if you wait.

Hugs, Sunny

Gotta love how much dogs brighten up our lives. Dogs and children, they give us joy and give us a reason to get up each day. Good luck with your new puppy when you get it. Love the picture of your new granddaughter.
