Set a goal, accomplished a goal!

I set a goal last weekend of focusing on vegetables this week. I had noticed last week an overabundance of carbs in my diet and not enough fruits and veggies. So I shopped on Sunday, and brought home broccoli, squash, red bell pepper, onion, sugar snap peas, carrots. Washed it all and divided it into smaller bags, which made it a whole lot easier to grab some for raw snacking, or for steaming, or adding to rice or pasta. Has worked very well!
Oops couldn't resist a piece of cake this afternoon, although it wasn't too big. Still stayed under my points, but I need to be careful with sugar so I don't go on a binge.
