Writing, for me, is therapeutic.
So why don't I write more often? Good question.
I'm busy (we all are). I'm tired when I get a few minutes. I have other priorities, really. But maybe, like so many other habits, I can get back into writing.
Things in my life are incredibly stressful right now. And I am very thankful that all the habits I've managed to build using Spark People are holding, at least right now. I'm not over-eating. I'm still exercising (but I missed a few workouts). More importantly I'm not kicking myself for the missed workouts, just moving on. I'm still losing weight, just not as fast as I was earlier in the spring. It's getting hot here (highs of 90-100 each day) so exercising in the afternoon is less pleasant for my dogs (my walking partners). We walk a bit later in the evening to compensate.
It's stressful, but so far manageable.
We'll see what tomorrow brings...
