I saw Tosca Reno on the CBS Saturday morning show, I have looked at her books and decided to buy them. I found her webpage and a few others and said, I can do that. Sunday and Monday went quite well, without a lot of extra shopping. I have most of this stuff in the house and eat it, but with some other stuff thrown in.
Fast forward to today. Too much too soon. She says two to four complex carbs, so I tried to eat just one because that is what folks do to power their weight loss.
By four this afternoon at my volunteer gig, I was almost asleep, hot and sweaty and as weak as a noodle.
Needless to say there was no cardio today. I came home and made low fat meatloaf, some baby potatoes and roasted corn, good complex carbs. It took a few hours, but I did start feeling better.
So I'll back track and follow the rules for the more moderate program. The good news, I'm staying in my calorie range, my sodium is way down, and carbs, proteins and fats are in or very close to range. This has happened before when I try to drop my complex carbs too low. I ate a bunch of veggies and fruit, but my body just likes some grains and potatoes! LOL.
