I just got back from my soccer game, where I scored my first goal!! I'm so happy! It's really the pinnacle of all my hard work. I push myself at the gym all week, just so I can keep up with all of the girls on my team. But now I do more than just keep up, now I help win games :) We're undefeated 4 games into the season, and that's with a team that's two people short. Go blue!!!

In other news, I've decided to go back to the nutrition tracker tomorrow. I haven't been nearly out of control, but I know bad habits are slowly sneaking back in. When I'm not tracking, I don't plan ahead nearly as much, and it leads me to bad choices. To be completely honest, all I want to do is wear a bikini this summer. I've never been in shape enough to wear one, and this is by the far the closest I've ever come. Tracking will help me reach that goal in time for summer weather.

I know there will be a time where I don't need my tracker anymore, but I'm not there yet. I will rock a beach bod for the first time ever this summer!!! Please hold me to that!

    Awesome job! Congrats!

I think I have about a 90/10 love/hate relationship with the tracker. I've experimented with going off of it a few times, and I really feel more comfortable with it. At the same time, I've realized that I'm really okay with the idea of using it indefinitely. I'm thinking of it less as a crutch or temporary diet tool, and more as an everyday tool like a measuring cup or a recipe card (not sure if that makes any sense). I've started to give myself a little more freedom, like not freaking out if I miss entering a restaurant meal because I just don't feel like guessing (I usually overestimate a ballpark figure in my head anyway), but most of the time I like to see the numbers in front of me.

I think it's all about experimentation - Hope you find something that works for you!

Way to go! You should be proud.
The tracker is great. Don't forget you can add things, like sodium, calcium etc. It's pretty amazing some days I think I've done just perfect and I've eaten something loaded with salt and didn't even know it. I've tracked for about 1 1/2 years now and I'm still getting surprises. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations on the soccer goal! Good luck with the swimsuit goal - you're right that the tracker will help you.
