Wow! It is hard to believe that I have lost 55 pounds. I am so proud and grateful for my success, I give this site and all my wonderful SparkFriends a lot of credit, you guys keep me going. I actually had someone comment on my page and tell me that I inspire them, what me!?!? Oh, that made my day and made me want to push even harder. It seemed so easy to lose this first 55 pounds; I pray that I can continue to say the same as I get closer to my goal weight.
What have I learned in the in the last 4 months (since joining Spark)?
That I can do anything that I put my mind to.
That I may have bad days but I can PUSH through them and that my GOOD days far outweigh the bad.
That I can jog….yeah me, jogging.
That I can encourage others (another big wow for me).
That I can and WILL reach my goal weight.
That working out is fun and gives me a rush afterwards.
That my SparkFriends are the best.
That this is a life style change and not just some quick fix.
The list could go on and on. I am so proud of myself, I have started “DIETS” and stopped so many times before but this time is different, I don’t feel limited on what I can eat and I have not thought about giving up! I know that my mind is made up and I am determined to be successful. I feel so much better and I have a ton of energy now, I actually look forward to working out. Hard work, sweat and sometimes even tears help us get a little closer to our goal. For me it is not all about looking better (although that is a huge PLUS) but being healthier and having a better quality of life. It is amazing what losing weight can and will do for you physically and mentally. I am so thankful for all of my accomplishments and for everyone who has helped me through my journey so far. My husband is the best and is so supportive, he has adopted my new eating habits and we (along with our son) work out together.
Thanks for all of the support guys.
