This week had some good moments and I feel like I'm heading into the new week with some motivation to keep it going. I was actually able to weigh-in for one of my challenge teams with a 2 lb. loss! Here's the breakdown on the goals for the week:
1) Stay near the low end of the calorie goal.
Still room for improvement but I'm beginning to see more days in the low end.
2) Lessen soda intake.
I did lessen this some, but more work to be done.
3) NO night snacking.
Was doing great until TOM hit and then I caved to the salt cravings for a few days.
4) Quick Fires... attempt 5 of them this week.
Only did one.
5) One a Day's... I will do 6 this week.
I completed 7!!!
6) Daily Devotion time each day.
Succeeded!
7) Plan my meals/snacks for a week at a time.
I did have my meals planned and am already done with that for the coming week. Snacks...just need to work on this more.
Other Team Challenges
Jade Dragons BL Challenge--Starting up again on 6/10.
LIL Mommies--May weight loss challenge and 11 for 11 in 2011 (exercise 11 minutes for 11 consecutive days).
I made it successfully through the 11 for 11 and am on my next round.
5% Butterflies--Log as many exercise minutes up to 120/day. Weigh & Measure food. (Good one for me this week!)
I did well with the fitness minutes, but hit and miss on the weigh/measure side.
Amazing Race--This challenge began on the 15th.
I made it through the first five legs of the race and ended up in Zambia in 3rd place! Whoo Hoo! I'll fall behind a little on the way to Peru as my fitness minutes are usually less on the weekends.
For the coming week:
