I completed a 5k! I ran the 1st mile, but, ran/walked the rest of it. I would have never attempted to run 40 lbs ago. I went to a conference for work in Florida the same week as my 5k. I didn't watch what I ate and I wound up gaining 4 lbs that week. I'm still struggling to get back on track. The milk duds are getting the best of me again.
I'm a little disappointed in myself because I wanted to have an additional 10 lbs off by the 5k. I signed up for another 5k and plan to run 2 miles.

    emoticon I am so PROUD of you for continuing on and doing the race! Do your best to stick to your training schedule and I know you will do emoticon in the 2nd 5k event.

Just say emoticon to the Milk Duds! Now that the fresh produce should be in abundance grab some fruit to snack on instead or make up your own trail mix.

    Good job! When's your next 5K? Don't be disappointed if you only run 1.5 miles, the important thing is that you're out there. Drop the milk duds and feed your body well to fuel your body well; before long, you won't crave junk.

    emoticon on the 5K. Keep working like you are & it'll all work out. Aim to lose your weight goal for the 2nd 5K. As for the milk duds, we all have our weekness(s); for me homemade cookies & dark chocolate in any form. emoticon
