My exercise goal for the week.

Thursday, May 19, 2011

This turtle I saw moving along the fence line as I was drinking my coffee.... moved faster then I have this last week/weekend.......he/she is my new exercise example! Or to steal a line from a drunken "Real Housewive of New York"...."TURTLE TIME!!" (don't ask, something to do with a bar and being wasted! haha)

ROFL....that is what my husband said when I showed the vid to him, "Ummm..honey, did you put that turtle IN the pond? Box turtles don't LIVE in the water!" Haha...luckily, no I just walked him around to the back of the property fenceline and put him through the fence in the weeds. The pond was a few more yards ahead of him, so he could chose what way to go and go around it.

There is SOMETHING under the plastic dog houses I had stacked behind our permanent dog house and (Funny, we've been calling the new dog "Mr. Potato Head"! haha) I looked out yesterday and saw dirt flying and then saw him move around and stand in the hole he dug.....and you couldn't even see his legs when he stood in it. AHEM. Hubby not happy. LUCKILY we have some applicants for him but I do feel obligated to let them know he 'digs' when he's bored! Umm...i think my point was there maybe another turtle hoping for help out there I guess I should move the dog houses and look....but if it's a snake, all bets are off.

You are hilarious, but isn't that a box turtle?
I think it might drown in the pond, although drowning might be better than being taken apart like freaking Mr. Potato Head. LOL
