alternate exercise routines

After a skiing trip this past weekend, I find myself unable to exercise as I normally would. I do cardio activity at least 6 days a week and due to a swollen knee I cannot put much weight on my right leg. I know it will get better but it is frustrating because I had such an exercise streak going. I am trying to look at this as a time to work on my core and upper body and get out of my exercise rut. I just need to get past the mindset that I am not exercising if I am not doing cardio. I will focus on different muscle groups this week and see how my body responds.
