**Started on 5/17 but finished on 5/18***
How do you feel about exercising? What is your favorite type of exercise? What are your feelings about exercise and reasons for doing it. How do you vary (and how often do you vary) your exercise routine? Do you do any unconventional exercises? Do you have any exercises you would recommend to team members?
How do I feel about exercising/reasons for doing it?
I love exercising. I wish there were about 5 more hours in the day so I could make sure to get at least an hour in everyday and then I would use the rest for sleep :) I use it as stress release alot of the time. But I also just love how you feel after and I love the changes I see in my body after having a consistent exercise schedule. I love that there is so much variety w/ exercise. I have alot of beachbody programs..everything from turbo fire to rev abs so I never get bored. I go to the gym and take my kick class and usually step class. And I also picked up running so I am always busy and making schedules to fit in my favorite activities!
Favorite kind of exercise?
Well I have to admit for about 5 years I was a cardio junkie and I loved doing step aerobics. Then I joined this sight and learned about strength training and how important it is. I started incorporating that into my routine and BAM what a difference it makes. The only downfall is when you are on a consistent strength training schedule you can't weigh yourself. Because you are losing fat and gaining muscle so you don't lose weight. But I've learned to pretty much stay off the scale and take measurements!
How often do you vary your exercise routine?
I have like exercise ADD so for me to stick to a 90 day program is just not going to happen. I hate to admit that b/c I think you can get great results but I can't do the same programs over and over again. Sooo knowing this about myself I created a schedule that was rotating CLX, P90X, Rev Abs, BBL and Turbo Fire. It was actually working out pretty nice and then I decided for May I wanted a firmer rear end and I started doing BBL after I finished CLX. Then I decided I liked the fast results I get w/ P90X and am doing that now and kind of quit the roation. So I mix it up quite alot. My cardio is usually step class, kick class and running but my strength training I mix up quit alot.
Do you have any exercises you would recommend to team members?
I would recommend any beach body program. I think they are all great but definitely different in their own ways. Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire/Turbo Jam are my favorites b/c I love Chalean. But P90X is a great workout for more hard core people. I have gotten other programs from other companies (bender ball and a kettlebell series) and they weren't as good.
I hope everyone has a great day!
