I’ve been having a lot of issues with bingeing lately. I decided to start food blogging in an effort to keep it at bay. Maybe if I slow down, plan my meals and snacks, and take the time to photograph them and display it publicly for accountability, I won’t hoover all kinds of food down my throat in a mad dash to stuff feelings away.

Without further ado, today’s food:


½ c. oatmeal w/ cinnamon, ½ c. blackberries, & 1 tsp. homemade reduced-sugar blueberry jam
4 oz. Fiber One vanilla nonfat yogurt
coffee w/ 2 ½ T. creamer


Cajun turkey & cheese sandwich on light wheat bread
10 grape tomatoes w/ 2 T. roasted garlic hummus
1 serving sugar-free strawberry Jello
1 c. skim milk

*Afternoon Snack*

½ oz. almonds
½ banana


1 c. skim milk
1 c. green beans w/ ¼ tsp. butter
½ c. white rice
1 serving Sweet N Spicy chicken

*Evening Snacks*

2 c. low-calorie Gatorade
Kashi Dark Chocolate Coconut bar
1 serving reduced-fat Wheat Thins
2 slices light wheat toast w/ ½ oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese & 1 T. raspberry preserves

I realize that my PM snacks might seem like a binge cuz there's a fair amount of cals there. Those snacks were eaten completely out of hunger. I do 2 hours of cardio on Mondays and burned close to 1200 cals tonight.
