I have been trying to maintain my consistency of working out and tracking my food for last few months. Some weeks have been better than others but overall I have done fairly well. I am happy about that but I still have not seen my weight decrease but yet remain where it has been give or take a few lbs over that time period. And that is okay because at least it has not increase significantly.
But as I stood in the mirror looking at myself this morning while getting ready for work I could see that there is a fitter me underneath that belly fat (which was a gift from birthing my 9lbs son 5 1/2 years ago).
I must mention that is was my first morning workout in about 6 months or so. My routine up until now was working out after I put my son to sleep but there is a lot of stress associated with that because my son does not like to go to bed when he is supposed to. So I decided to switch things up. So day 1 is in the bag and I will try this on a week to week basis for 30 minutes a day to see how it works out. I am fairly excited for now but we all know I have major issues with my mental motivation so I will be looking for prayers and encouragement.
And with that I will sign off with something I heard from Joyce Meyers last week (paraphrasing of course since my memory is a bit sketchy these days.... oh the joys of mother hood ;) )........
I am eating healthier
I am feeling healthier and more energetic
And I weigh what God wants me to weigh!!!!
